I've been at work now for an entire semester and you would think it would be easier. It's not. I'm an over achiever, never happy with the status quo. I decided to change my whole grading system at the quarter. Is it easier?... No. Better for the students?... I think so. So here I am sacrificing my sanity to try and give 100% to something that I don't have the time to manage. Ah, but that's me, I guess.

I miss the snot out of the kids when I'm gone. They are just so sweet. Macy is in that toddler stage that is so fun. She wants to be a "prince" and likes dressing up and twirling. She constantly talks in third person and tells us how she loves everything. ("Macy loves candy", "Macy loves Dora") She thinksd "Moran" is "cute" and "etan" and "onion" are funny.

The babies turned one on December 9th and celebrated by getting their one year shots. We celebrated with friends and family the next day and luckily it was beautiful outside. We laid a blanked out for the babies to open their presents on and had the cake smash out in the yard. Ethan loved it, Evan was very meticulous, and Morgan puked on hers :)

Evan was out of sorts all day :(

Evan walked across the living room on January 11th for the first time. It looks like he'll be the first to walk. Ethan will stand straight up from squatting though. It's the funniest thing! Morgan began crawling hands and knees finally at 13 months, even though she has been scooting around for months and pulling up to standing and walking with something for a few weeks now.

They are all so different. Evan is a momma's boy, but has developed a great personality when he isn't clung to my side. He has an arm on him and likes to throw things and chase after them.

Morgan follows the boys everywhere and hates to be alone. She is one stubborn cookie! She needs the least amount of sleep and will purposefully try to wake the boys up early from their naps. She chatters constantly.... LOUDLY! She is definitely the smallest, but the toughest of the three.

Macy is adapting well to being a big sister. She has a unique connection to Evan that is fun to watch and listen to. Things are definately crazy, but we take it day by day.

Grandma and Grandpa Hille visited in December and Aunt Lee Anne captured this great shot.

Love,
Mandy Kay
